Problem

Failure to establish network connection

Solution

The AS400 requires a specific parameter to be added compared to other Alpha servers. Please check the configuration file and verify the irq_bus=isa settings are defined.

Example1:

load DE500AA/dec21x4x EWA irq_bus=isa interface=EWA0

load packet_port/chnetwrk EWA0 interface="connection:CHARON"

Example2:

load DE500AA/dec21x4x EWA interface=EWA0

set EWA irq_bus=isa

load packet_port/chnetwrk EWA0 interface="connection:CHARON"
