Problem

The emulator starts and displays a warning message telling CPUs with ID greater than 0 cannot be used.

CHARON Launcher example (Windows only)

Description

This warning message appears when:

  • You have a multiple CPUs virtualized VAX/66x0 or AXP system
  • Your license does not allow you to run the maximum number of CPUs available for this virtualized machine

Example:

You are running a DS20 virtual machine that has 2 CPUs by default and your license does not allow you to use more than 1 CPU (so "cpu_0" only).
