The installer fails with a missing package message:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

The problem is the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable" package failed to install.

The package has to be installed manually. The vcredist_x64.exe executable can be found:

• either in the "C:\Program Files\CHARON-AXP\Microsoft" folder

• or, if not available, on our SFTP server besides the CHARON-AXP-SMA_v2.3.3.zip file (please ask us for the download credentials)

• or, if not available, on the Microsoft Download center: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=15336

Once installed, the Charon-AXP/SMA installation can be restarted
