Charon Virtual Machine Manager returns error code 1058
Problem
The Charon Virtual Machine Manager returns an error code 1058 when trying to start a virtual machine.
Affected versions: all Charon-AXP/VAX/PDP versions on Windows starting with 4.8 and before 4.11 B204-15.
Solution
This is a bug in the Charon Virtual Machine Manager interface that does not handle the case of virtual machines with startup type set to "Disabled".
Define the startup type of the virtual machine to "Manual" or "Automatic" to solve the problem.
Example:
The virtual machine Startup type is set to "Disabled". Change it to "Manual" or "Automatic" to solve the problem:
