CHARON-AXP and -VAX/ OpenVMS and CTRL-P interpretation

Problem

<CTRL-P> keys combination is still active even if the "set OPA0 break_on=none" is set in the configuration file

(warning) Affected CHARON products: CHARON-AXP and CHARON-VAX version 4.3 and up running OpenVMS. Tru64 virtual machines are not affected

Solution

Disable also <CTRL-P> at SRM level: shutdown your OpenVMS system if running, enter the commands described below, restart CHARON and boot your OpenVMS virtual machine.

P00>>> set controlp off

P00>>> power off

(info) The "power off" command is used to preserve the ROM settings
