Problem

CHARON-VAX reports informational messages telling vdisk files cannot be accessed:

20161030:105121:INFO :0:000003A2:mscpdisk.c( 305):  (5) Access is denied. :  DeviceIoControl(D:\Charon\my_vdisk.vdisk, FSCTL_UNLOCK_VOLUME)

This bug exists in MSCP/DSSI emulation, and does not exist in SCSI emulation.

Known affected version: V4.7 up to build 171-07

Solution

Those messages are harmless, it's a coding mistake, please ignore them.

They will be removed with the next coming patch.
