Problem

The OPA0 console cannot be opened when starting a Charon virtual machine and reports the following message in the log file:

Solution

Please check putty.exe is not already running on another Windows session and connected to the console. If yes, disconnect the session.

This message can also be due to putty.exe file missing in the emulator executable folder.

Example:

If the emulator is a DS20 running on Charon-AXP V4.11, the ds20.exe executable file is usually in "C:\Program Files\CHARON\Build_20410\x64" so putty.exe must also be present in this folder.
