With the exception of Charon-SSP Baremetal, Charon-SSP uses the same command-line tools on Linux as the other host-based Charon emulator products. However, Charon-SSP comes with the Charon-SSP Manager, a GUI-based tool to manage the emulator configuration and other aspects, including licensing. On Charon-SSP Baremetal, this is only access to the detailed license management functions. This section describes the options Charon-SSP Manager offers for license management.
Starting the Charon-SSP Manager
- Start the Charon-SSP Manager with the following command (if using command-line access):
$ /opt/charon-manager/ssp-manager/ssp-manager |
- On Charon-SSP Baremetal, the Charon Manager is started via the Charon tab of the GUI as shown below:
