Description

This option either:

• opens Firefox Web browser (Graphical User Interface) in order to apply the V2C (Vendor to Customer) file received from Stromasys or
• if the 'hasp_update' executable file is present, coming from the CHARON kit (starting with V4.6) or from a provided HASP SL (Software License) runtime package, allows you to apply updates from a Character User Interface.

Using Graphical User Interface (GUI)

Select option 1 from the menu:

and click on the Browse button to select and apply the V2C files:

 In case of update, install the _fmt.v2c file first (_fmt = format)

Using Character User Interface (CUI)

Select option 2 from the menu:

You will have, if not already done, to specify the container (folder) where you store the .v2c files.

The specified folder must already exist. In the example below, the "# mkdir -p /charon/licenses" command was used to create the container

The license updates will be applied in the order specified.
