Solution

A bug was Check you are not running CHARON over RDP, see: CHARON Launcher - License not found, not valid or expired

If this is not the case then it may be relevant to a bug introduced in the products/versions mentioned above and . It is related to the use of the "Disable TCP chimney offload" option in the Network Control Center utility. This bug causes CHARON to lose access to the license.
