Who should apply the patch ?
- Users having problems with bonding network adapters
- Users having "Failed to query for max frame size" messages in log file
- Users having problems with NCU utility
- Users having problems with DE500BA adapter
- Users having problems with core dump situations
- Users having problems with AlphaServer GS320

CHARON configuration changes required:
- None

Problems fixed by the patch

- Fixed usage of Linux bonding adapter with Charon (ID #4750)
- Fixed a problem "Failed to query for max frame size" (ID #4899)
- Fixed a problem when Team0 interface disappears after being dedicated to Charon with NCU (ID #5434)
- Foxed a problem when DE500BA Link is down in OpenVMS (ewa0) and Tru64 (tu0) (ID #5482)
- Fixed a problem with core dump in certain specific configurations (ID #5483)
- Fixed a problem when AlphaServer GS320 crashes at start (ID #5495)

Installation:
1. Stop all running CHARON-AXP instances
2. Make sure that no template files (i.e. "es40.cfg.template") have been used for your specific configuration. Otherwise copy those files to some place to save.
3. Login as "root" user.

Deinstallation:
Deinstallation can be applied only to CHARON product, not to the patch.
