When trying to start an emulator, the Charon log file reports a "Too many concurrent user sessions currently connected" message.
In case you have several network licenses on your network (reminder: Software Licenses are by default network licenses) and you have not restricted access to remote licenses either from the Sentinel Admin Control Center or by restricting the license key ids in the configuration file, Charon will try to connect to any available license on the network. If this license is already used (another emulator running on another server), the "Too many concurrent user sessions currently connected" message can be reported. This is logical but may not reflect the cause of the error. The problem can in fact come from the unavailability of the license installed locally on the server, either because it is not accessible (USB dongle) or because the software license is in cloned state.
To check for cloned software licenses, open the Sentinel Admin Control Center/Sentinel Keys tab (http://localhost:1947/_int_/devices.html)
If the license is in cloned state, this means it has been invalidated following updates described in this article: Software Licensing restrictions
To solve the issue, you need to delete the software license as described here: Cloned Software License Removal, generate a new fingerprint and send us the C2V file and we will update your license.
