On installation of Software License "hasp_srwsrm_view" utility cannot retrieve the host fingerprint C2V file: "Can not retrive retrieve the C2V (host fingerprint mode) data."

This problem happens because the "hasp_srwsrm_view" utility may be confused by already installed network-wide Software Licenses. The solution is to disable access to remote licenses using "Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center" (ACCSACC).
