Charon-AXP/VAX/PDP installer fails on Windows as shown in the example below:

Solution

Check the Windows Application Event log and search for InstallShell.exe error. If the error reported is an exception code 0xc00000fd, please contact us to download the InstallShell version 7.12 minimum that solves a bug causing an array index out-of-range exception.

Copy then the InstallShellCHS.dll and the InstallShell.exe files in the folder where you downloaded the kit and restart the installation.
