AnswerThe battery charge last lasts at least 3 years. RecommendationTo avoid complete discharge, we strongly recommend to plug it in for 24 hours every 6 monthsIf the battery has been completely depleted, the dongle must be replaced. RecommendationThe battery is not rechargeable. However, while the dongle is plugged into a USB port of the host system, it will use the power provided by the host, thus slowing down the battery depletion. If the dongle is not permanently connected to the host, it is strongly recommend to check every 6 months if the dongle battery is still sufficient. This can be done by viewing the license content with hasp_srm_view (Linux) or Hasp Viewer (Windows). If the battery is empty, the tools will report that the key clock has no power.
