- If the V2C file installed is an update to an existing license, the v2c command will first show the difference between old and new license and wait for the user confirmation before proceeding with the update. This If absolutely required, this behavior can be suppressed using the
-soption. Carefully review the changes before accepting them. - To import the same license repeatedly will not cause a problem. In this case, the user will not be asked to confirm the import.
- The difference between old and new license is shown as a side-by-side list of the old and new license parameters. This list uses short parameter names to keep the old and new parameter on one line.
