This parameter is currently There are currently two use cases: - When used to boot a single image, it is mostly used for testing. Use only as advised by Stromasys. The path parameter is a SCSI device path for 64-bit systems, on a 32-bit system it can be the device path of a network card or a SCSI device path. The lifimage parameter contains the path of the bootable lif file (absolute path or path relative to the directory in which the emulator runs).
- Used to emulate booting a system from a Ignite-UX server (for example, to install the operating system). In this case, the content of the TFTP boot directory is downloaded from the Ignite server to a path accessible by the emulator. The feature was introduced in version 3.0.9.
