This Getting Started guide is intended for anyone who needs to install, configure, or manage the Stromasys Charon -SSP processor/platform emulation software emulators in the IBM cloud. Its focus is on cloud-specific steps to install the Charon-SSP Virtual Environment (VE) emulator and license serverIt can be used as a starting point for installations that use the prepackaged Charon marketplace images available on the IBM Cloud marketplace, or when creating a Linux server in the cloud for a conventional RPM installation of Charon emulator products. Please note: the descriptions in this Getting Started guide are for Charon host systems running a supported Linux operating system. Windows host systems are not within the scope of this guide.
