- Stop all Charon instances that might use the volume that is about to be unmounted.
- In Charon Manager go to Tools > Azure Cloud > Storage Manager.
- Select the volume.
- Click on the cogwheel symbol and select Unmount the Filesystem.
When you delete a virtual machine in Azure, by default, the disks that are attached to the VM will not be deleted. If you do not require a disk anymore, delete it to avoid unnecessary cost.
