Please note that the procedure described here is temporary and will change in a future version of the license server product.
An update to a license may become necessary due to
- the expiration date being reached,
- Charon-SSP product upgrade,
- additional Charon-SSP instances,
- etc.
The current update procedure involves requires the following steps:

- Create a new C2V file.
- Send the output to Stromasys.
- Install the received V2C file.
Stromasys will create the V2C file with the license update for you based on the original C2V file you sent earlier.
Save your original C2V file in case you need to provide it to Stromasys.
Do not run the C2V command again once a V2C has been installed. This will invalidate your licensePlease refer to Installing a License on the VPC License Server for a detailed description of these steps.
