Windows Tasks
To check the state of the Sentinel runtime software on Windows perform the following steps:
- Press WIN+R and enter the command services.msc into the command window.
- Look for the service named Sentinel LDK License Manager (Charon-AXP/VAX/PDP) or Sentinel HASP License Manager (Charon-AXP/SMA) in the list of services that is displayed. The service corresponds to the hasplms.exe process.
- If the service is not in the started state, the Sentinel license drivers are not in the proper state. Restart the service as described below.

- Press WIN+R and enter the command services.msc into the command window.

- Right-click on the service status and select Start.
