Non-volatile RAM configuration.

The system section is used to configure "system-wide" properties of the virtual machine.  The list below describes the options that can be set:

  • hostid – Assign virtual CPU processing to a specific host CPU – Set Sun Host ID.
  • path – Specify location of console NVRAM file.

Syntax

cpu_affinity hostid = cpu-affinity [, cpu-affinity [, ... ] ]hex-hostid

Description

This option is a comma delimited list of host CPUs (or cores) that the virtual machine is to assign to virtual CPU threads.The virtual machine will assign affinity automatically if this option is not setoptional property can be used to configure the Sun Host ID of the virtual machine.  The value of hex-path is of the format 0xnnnnnnnn.
