Definition

One configuration file is required per CHARON instance. It is used to store the necessary parameters to execute the remote shutdown command.

This file typically has usually the extension .ini extension and the . The file name can be set at your convenience. We recommend of course As good practice, we recommend to include the CHARON instance service name in the configuration file name.

The file can handle blank lines and comments (lines starting with '#').

Do not use simple or double quotes within values.

The template.ini file is given provided as an example. Copy it, uncomment all necessary lines depending on the selected mode, and fill in the required values.
